NodFactor recently caught up with Bangladesh and asked him about his relationship with Lil Wayne & Cash Money. Bangladesh says that Wayne finally gave him the verse he owed him, and that he still does work with Cash Money.

Video: Bow Wow – “Boy Or Girl”

YMCMB CEO Birdman handed this list to the CEO of Blu Division Music who then Twitpic’d it.

It apparantly shows tentative release dates for artists on YMCMB. It shows Lil Wayne’s Carter IV album slated for a May 24th release.

Drake’s second album Take Care is scheduled for September 13th.

As with all release dates this is likely to change. However if it roughly stays true then we are indeed due for a hot summer!

The whole of Young Money Cash Money turned up for NYE Party at BET’s 106 & Park including Drake, Nicki Minaj and Weezy.

“Hard Work is the Young Money Formula to Success”

They ran through all of their hits including Right Above It and 6 foot 7 Foot. Drizzy also popped up at the stroke of midnight.

Young Money Cash Money 106 & Park NYE Party!

It’s official! DJ Khaled has signed to Birdman’s Cash Money Record label.

DJ Khaled had this to say about his signing:

“Birdman always loved my work and passion. We’ve known each other for years, and he’s always told me when you fulfill your contract with E1 you always got a home over here. I was going to sign myself, but I called Birdman and he said ‘Let’s get the deal done in an hour.’ He just wanted to make it happen.”

The video shows Birdman going shopping (again) and meeting all his fans. The whole of Cash Money Young Money also do some promo and bump into Waka Flocka.

The co-founder of Cash Money Records Slim talks candidly about the success of the label and how they did it.

“Staying focused, believing in God, letting God guide us through our path!”

Slim also mentioned that making the right decisions and having great artists was pivotal to their success.

Slim started Cash Money records with Birdman “Baby” over 15 years ago. Today it is one of the hottest rap labels around with artists like Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj and Jay Sean.

Cash Money is now up there with Death Row records, Bad Boy records, Rocafella and Aftermath as one of the greatest labels of all time. Just my opinion.

Part 3 Video of Cash Money in LA.

“Another day another dollar”

In this episode Kevin Rudolf and Jay Sean perform “I Made It” and Birdman stops by Universal and Paramount studios for the filming of “Drop The World”.

Birdman also visits the Gucci store once again and purchases a $140,000 Gucci diamond ring.

He finally stops by the Grammys to watch Em, Drizzy and Weezy perform! Check out the full video above.

Birdman and Jay Sean team up once again to do a performance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show before heading back to Miami.

This video is only 8 minutes long so check it out above.

The reason I like these video’s show much is because they capture history in the making. They show what it’s really like to work in the music industry. A lot of travelling, a lot of promo and a lot of work.

Video: Cash Money in LA Part 2

This video series follows Birdman and cash money while he gets ready to release his album Priceless.

He links up with Jay Sean and Mack Maine to do a TV show performance stops by numerous radio shows. He also links up with his lawyer at a Law School to speak to upcoming laywers. I’m sure he will need a lot of them. Currently he has 4 attorneys!

Birdman also heads back to his hometown in New Orleans to hand out turkeys for Thanksgiving. They managed to hand out over 20,000 turkey dinners that day.

These video series show the amount of work these guys put in and it’s nice to see them give back to the community.

The third day shows Birdman and Lil Wayne at an album release party featuring a number of other rappers and producers including Fat Joe, Bow Wow,  Scott Storch and Cool n Dre.

Would like to see more footage of Slim in these videos. He is one of the founding members of cash money and looks like an interesting character.
