NodFactor recently caught up with Bangladesh and asked him about his relationship with Lil Wayne & Cash Money. Bangladesh says that Wayne finally gave him the verse he owed him, and that he still does work with Cash Money.

Lil Wayne’s Carter IV Due For Release May 24?
YMCMB CEO Birdman handed this list to the CEO of Blu Division Music who then Twitpic’d it.
It apparantly shows tentative release dates for artists on YMCMB. It shows Lil Wayne’s Carter IV album slated for a May 24th release.
Drake’s second album Take Care is scheduled for September 13th.
As with all release dates this is likely to change. However if it roughly stays true then we are indeed due for a hot summer!

Young Money Cash Money 106 & Park NYE Party!
The whole of Young Money Cash Money turned up for NYE Party at BET’s 106 & Park including Drake, Nicki Minaj and Weezy.
“Hard Work is the Young Money Formula to Success”
They ran through all of their hits including Right Above It and 6 foot 7 Foot. Drizzy also popped up at the stroke of midnight.

DJ Khaled Signs To Cash Money and Celebrates in Style!
It’s official! DJ Khaled has signed to Birdman’s Cash Money Record label.
DJ Khaled had this to say about his signing:
“Birdman always loved my work and passion. We’ve known each other for years, and he’s always told me when you fulfill your contract with E1 you always got a home over here. I was going to sign myself, but I called Birdman and he said ‘Let’s get the deal done in an hour.’ He just wanted to make it happen.”

Slim the Co-founder of Cash Money Records Speaks on Success
The co-founder of Cash Money Records Slim talks candidly about the success of the label and how they did it.
“Staying focused, believing in God, letting God guide us through our path!”
Slim also mentioned that making the right decisions and having great artists was pivotal to their success.
Slim started Cash Money records with Birdman “Baby” over 15 years ago. Today it is one of the hottest rap labels around with artists like Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj and Jay Sean.
Cash Money is now up there with Death Row records, Bad Boy records, Rocafella and Aftermath as one of the greatest labels of all time. Just my opinion.
