Look, watching Gunplay get tossed and maced is hilarious. But you know what’s funnier? Captioned pics from Drake’s younger days. Now that’s how you take care of your sense of humor. Last time we went through 15 Killer Hip-Hop memes, we saw Rick Ross and Precious’ child ride the bus. This time around we have Drake ice-skating, 2 Chainz’ family picture, and several politically charged rap memes in honor of the upcoming election. L-Y-A-O after the break.
I think the Mayans were off by a few months. The world should’ve ended right after the Pacquiao fight. June 9th, 2012 was a horrible day for society. First, the legendary Canibus pulled out a notepad during a battle with Dizaster. He pulled out a notepad and read his rhymes right off it. To top it off, his rhymes were super weak, and Dizaster ripped him apart. After that, Manny Pacquiao got robbed. There was absolutely no way Timothy Bradley won that fight. The Juan Manuel Marquez decision was debatable, but this one wasn’t even close. Pac-Man was in control throughout the fight. HBO’s Harold Lederman was even talking about a sweep by Manny! I have no doubt that this fight was fixed. June 9th, 2012 you’re killin’ me.
KOTD released the full video of Canibus catching a big L to Dizaster and the now infamous “notepad” incident. Who’s gonna be the first rapper to use the note pad incident in a rap?
Anyway, last night a fake Canibus account issued a funny apology via Tumblr. It explained his injured shoulder and why he was not up to par. Basically he was “was abducted by human blood sucking leeches who did not make their identity known“. Check out a snippet of the crazy apology below:
Canibus pulled out a note pad of rhymes during his much anticipated battle with Dizaster at King Of The Dot.
The battle was streamed live on PPV and left many fans wondering what happened to the usually sharp Biz. Dizaster was on point during the whole battle continuing to prove his wittiness and clearly winning the contest. After conceding defeat Canibus pulled out a note pad and tried in vain to spit some bars off it.
Los stopped by Fuse and talks about collaborating with DMX, how Twista came about their collaboration, coming up on Canibus, and much more.
Make sure to check out “The Crown Aint Safe” here.
Damn that wasn’t weird, right? One day I wake up to a J. Clone diss by Canibus. Next day I wake up to an awkward apology video by the same guy. It’s been a few days since, and I’m still scratching my head. ‘Bus how are you going to diss someone for liking you, and why would you diss someone only to apologize a day later. Do you ever think about what you’re doing? Also, please don’t script your apology videos. What was that? Uh uh, don’t answer. You’re killin’ me.
