@Slim, Relapse sucked all the way around. the title was very appropriate because he reverted back to some of his early style crap that didnt make ne sense and it was just stupid, all of that style came before he hit it home with tracks like mockingbird and his collaborations with 50 cent. considering the name it kinda makes you wonder if he purposely went back to his early days style just so that he could have his “Recovery” and come back harder than ever with top notch lyrics and a flow that even the most skilled rapper would struggle to master. Eminem is the greatest rapper alive and i think that some of the lines from this song like “i wont go back to it again” where he’s addressing the fans mean he’s done with the retarded songs and is just gonna stick with makin great music from here on out.

@Slim, Everybody knows that there’s 2 CDs that EM came out with to come back with, but no he wasn’t talking about the second relapse CD, because this song “not afraid” is on the second one. The 2 CDs that he came out with is “Relapse” and “Recovery.” That’s what the second CD is called, “Recovery” so when he said the relapse CD was “ehh,” he means the CD with the songs such as “Beautiful, Deja Vu, Crack a bottle, 3AM” etc.

The first time I listened to those words “Hi, my name is” I was hooked. I said this guy is different, he’s too unique. Doubters said he’s done after Marshall Mathers LP, but he came back…over, and over, and over again. It was amazing to watch him transform and evolve from a fame hungry poor rapper into a mature serious legendary one. Millions out there can relate to his life and his journey through life. I’m a 41 year old white guy and this is a welcomed return to form from the GOAT (as someone referred to Eminem earlier).
I fell in love with the honesty in marshals lyrics from Stan(first Em song I heard) way back and this brings it all home again…I’m also digging the unity in this new song.

Relapse and Refill did suck, but they sucked based on his standards, it was still better than the majority of the crap thats put out there. But his previous albums were all so great, to the point where I liked almost every song on em. But Relapse and Refill I liked about half the songs.
