BREAKING NEWS: Lil Wayne Jail Term Postponed Until Monday 8th March
Lil Wayne’s sentence has been delayed for the third time and he will now get sentenced on Monday 8th March.
The first delay came when Lil Wayne’s lawyer asked for more time so he could have dental surgery. Weezy had his surgery and was then supposed to go to jail yesterday (Tues 2nd). However a fire at the court house meant the building was evacuated and all afternoon cases were delayed.
He was expected to go to jail today (Weds 3rd) but the court asked for more time to fix the repairs. A spokesperson for the Office of Court Administration told MTV News on Wednesday morning that Lil Wayne’s case has been rescheduled for Monday, March 8.
The video above shows Lil Wayne first finding out about the courthouse fire yesterday.
This has been a crazy episode for Wayne. I think only an alien abduction could prevent Weezy from going to jail next Monday (ha, well he does say he’s a Martian!).
No doubt Lil Wayne will probably be right back in the studio, shoot more video’s and then have another farewell party.
