New Music: Rapsody Ft. BJ The Chicago Kid – “Good Good Love” Prod By 9th Wonder
As a woman – not a girl, but a woman – I’ve made it a priority to show love to the females on their grind heavy in the hip hop game. The emcee who goes by Rapsody, hailing from North Carolina, is the epitome of such a specimen. The lady Rap is the first of Grammy-award-winning producer 9th Wonder’s label Jamla Records. She recently dropped her debut studio album The Idea of Beautiful, which compiles an incredibly versatile set of cuts, predominantly produced by Jamla’s founding father, with additional credits going to AMP, Khrysis, among others.
“Good Good Love” featuring BJ The Chicago Kid is her latest single from the project. The track is about learning when to let go of blindsided love. This soulful jam infuses doo wop with hip hop in the most audibly pleasurable way. So dope. Hit the jump to groove to Rapsody’s latest, and support her by copping The Idea of Beautiful on iTunes.
