Nas spoke to MTV about his influence and the influence of others rappers.

“Nicki Minaj, Drake, Ross and Kanye just came to just kill it off. You know, they did they thing. They kept this thing alive.”

Nas previously stated that “Hip Hop was dead” but now acknowledges a new era of Hip Hop. He also spoke highly of Kanye West prompting rumours of him joining G.O.O.D music.

    i think he mentioned these kids ‘cus they’re on the own beat…and ppl gravitate towards them…they didnt follow the crowd…especially nicki
