Zak, are you serious?!?!? Jay-Z made a song called Lucifer. Who in their right mind sings about Lucifer??? For real??? In another song, he says life begins when the church ends. It’s true, the symbol that he flashes is straight Luciferian – research it. Also, take some time to research some of the blatant rituals that are being flashed right in front of your eyes in music videos and you don’t even know it. Or better yet, continue to wait for him to come out and say that he’s a Satanist – which he won’t because a good number of people will stop buying his music. All I can really say is “wow”. Hammer was never a rapper in the first place, dude is an entertainer. The Hip Hop community never embraced Hammers music. I have never owned a Mc Hammer anything nor do i know anyone who has. Middle America embraced Hammers music and graced him with millions of dollars which he blew. So to say that Jay Z is the devil or worships the devil is just insane. This dude is still stuck in a time warp thinking he can get a Jay with that crap. Ok, Hammer made a mistake going after Jay-Z, but we really do need to look past the music and pay attention to the signs and symbolisms that Jay-Z puts into his music and videos(“Jesus can’t save you life starts when the church ends”. Did anyone see the crucifix and two bullets near the end of the “On To The Next” video?). I’m not saying that he is a satanist, but it is obvious that Jay-Z believes in something other than God. And for all of you who say that it doesn’t matter as long as he keeps banging out hot tracts you need to think: would you want anybody telling your kids there is no God and that “life starts when the church ends”?

Pretty sure there is a difference between the above poster mentioning that god(s) are imaginary and claiming that “man is in control.” You claim that there is a need for a higher power, but why? To comfort yourself by having an answer to questions that have no answer yet? Notice how I said “yet,” because as science has grown and been able to answer questions that religions have falsy claimed to have knowledge of, so too will it be able to provide answers to what we do not know today.
The tooth fairy does not exist, the easter bunny does not exist, mother goose does not exist, Zeus/Poseidon/Hades do not exist, the god(s) of Judeao-Christrian/Islam do not exist. There is/are no god(s), grown adults need to learn to rely on more than an imaginary friend to get through life.

well. I’m glad you brought up science. whose fundamental laws are based upon conjecture and assumptions. But what does science say about the creation of the world? It most likely began with a ‘Big Bang’ or a spark, right? what does the Bible say? ‘God said Let there be light’!
Compare evolutionary theory with the Bible and you would see that the progression of ‘evolving species’ fits neatly with the progression with which ‘all manner of creatures’ were created in the Bible with Mammals and Man coming last.
It’s funny you think God is a fictional creation like the tooth fairy or the easter bunny. lol. But if you only believe what the scientists say, you should be aware of what they call ‘dark matter’ and ‘dark energy’. They found that the force of gravity cannot be mathematically quaantified by the physical world which can be seen, that it would be much less if visible matter alone is taken into consideration. About 70 percent of the Universe’s energy is ‘invisible and impalpable’ yet Uniformly spread throughout its circumference… honestly what a christian would call ‘omnipresence’.
And Religion (note that Christianity is a lifestyle, NOT a religion) does not ‘claim to have knowledge’ (like science does). Actually, KNOWING is counterproductive to religion. Religion is powered by BELIEF, especially in something (someONE) that cannot be seen. The Bible says that Jesus told his followers: ‘You believe because you have seen. Blessed are those who believe without seeing.’
You might say it is puerile to believe in something which cannot be seen, but no one is saying that all the scientists who believe in Dark matter (which ‘has to be there’ although they can’t see it) are still in Kindergarten, are they?
Not believing in God is a choice. But the smart choice would be to believe. Especially since, like ‘Dark Matter’, you CANNOT prove he does not exist.

First of all, everyone on here dissing Mc Hammer was all for him at one point dancing to his music when he was going strong in the late 80′s early 90′s. He had club music and it was good. As Thomas said basically Mc Hammer had too big of a heart and gave a lot of his money away. Majority of us on here will never get to see the type of money McHammer has had. I don’t care what type of skill you think you have perfected as you talk about his rapping skill. At the end of the day it is all entertainment. You get caught up in it. If the media gave Mc Hammer a lot of credit for his works and pushed it in that direction as him being a very giving person – most of you would be talking about how giving he is. JayZ is a blessed rapper who also knows how to profit his talents and became successful off of it. The reality of it all is that many of you are just followers, and wherever the crowd goes and the media draws you, you are on for the ride. That goes for all of you who do throw signs and mimic words and don’t care, or don’t have the curiosity to find out what you are displaying. Next!
