Killerhiphop Poll – Your Favourite Rapper Is…
Last week we conducted a quick poll on Facebook which simply asked who your favourite living rapper is.
The purpose of this poll was to see which rappers the Killerhiphop community favoured. This was all for fun and has no scientific basis. Just curiosity.
All the votes were added up and the winner is….
1. Eminem
Eminem came in at number 1 with 28% of the total votes. He is hot off his new album Recovery which has been critically acclaimed and is currently on Tour with Jay-Z.
2. Lil Wayne
Despite being locked up he is still a favourite amongst you hip hop fans receiving 19% of the votes. He has managed to keep himself in the public eye by releasing new videos which he filmed before he went into jail. He also has a mixtape called “I am not a human being” scheduled to drop on his birthday September 27th.
3. Drake
Drizzy came in third receiving 16% of the votes. Drizzy is currently on tour and just released his debut album Thank Me Later which has now gone platinum.
Rounding up the top 5 were Jay-Z in fourth place with 6% of the votes followed by Nas in fifth place (3.7% of the votes).
This was just a quick survey with a small sample size (161 people voted). Of course this poll doesn’t mean they have the best lyrics, flow, delivery, swag or sales. Nor does it mean they are your personal favourite. This is just a general indicator of public opinion from a small number of people who read this blog. You can still agree or disagree.

He’s the best rapper because he doesn’t talk about bullshit, like all them other rappers and I’m positive he could do if he wanted to better than anyone…. he hasn’t sold out for them dead presidents.

Yes, J. Cole came joint 6th on the list with Kanye West. Both received 3.1% of the votes.

Yeah eminem for sure no doubts! Lil’ Wayne at second is understandable; awesome songs he does… But Drake… should be sixth or seventh in my opinion; he isnt fully up to standards… and Kanye should be mentioned more… He is one creative rapper!

You guys do know that this is based on oppionions of followers on Facebook right? yah J. Cole spits fire thats true, but hes no where near as popular as wayne or eminem.. not to mention you can tell its based on oppion because drake’s in the top 3 (and he is just… just terrible).. if it were 10 best… my list would be somethin like… Eminem, Jay-z, Wayne, Lupe, T.I, J.
