Lyrics for “Young Forever” by Jay-Z and Mr Hudson off the Blueprint 3. Read the full updated lyrics here….honestly!

This is one of my favourite tracks on the album. Read the full accurate (and not made up) Young Forever lyrics below.

Jay-Z ft Mr Hudson – Young Forever Lyrics

[Mr. Hudson]
Let’s dance in style,
Let’s dance for a while,
Heaven can wait we’re only watching the skies
Hoping for the best but expecting the worst,
Are you gonna drop the bomb or not?
Let us die young or let us live forever,
We don’t have the power but we never say never,
Sitting in a sandpit,
Life is a short trip,
The music’s for the sad man,

[chorus]
Forever young,
I wanna be forever young
Do you really want to live forever?
Forever and ever
Forever young I wanna be
Forever young
Do you really want to live forever?
Forever, forever

[Jay-Z Ad Lib]
May the best of your todays, be the worst of your tomorrows, but we aint even thinking that far, you naw mean?

[Jay-Z]
So we live a life like a video
When the sun is always out and you never get old
and the champagne’s always cold
and the music is always good
and the pretty girls just happen to stop by in the hood
and they hop their pretty ass up on the hood of dat pretty ass car
without a wrinkle in today
cuz there is no tomorrow
just some picture perfect day
to last a whole lifetime
and it never ends
cos all we have to do is hit rewind
lyrics courtesy of killerhiphop.com
so lets just stay in the moment, smoke some weed,
drink some wine,
reminisce talk some sh-t forever young is in your mind
leave a mark that can’t erase neither space nor time
so when the director yells cut,
I’ll be fine,
I’m forever young…

[chorus]

[Jay-Z]
Fear not when, fear not why,
fear not much while were alive,
life is for living not living up tight,
see ya somewhere up in the sky,
fear not die, i’ll be alive for a million years, bye bye,
so not for legends, I’m forever young
my name shall survive
through the darkest blocks, over kitchen stoves,
over Pyrex pots, my name shall be passed down to generations while debating up in barber shops,
young slung, hung here,
shorty, the n-gga from here
with a little ambition just what we can become here,
lyrics courtesy of killerhiphop.com
and as the father passed his story down to his sons ears,
younger kid, younger every year, yeah
so if you love me baby this is how you let me know.
don’t ever let me go, thats how you let me know, baby,

[chorus]

[Jay-Z]
Slamming Bentley doors,
hopping out of Porsche’s,
popping up on Forbes lists,
Gorgeous,
hold up,
n-ggas thought i lost it,
they be talking bullsh-t
i be talking more sh-t
they nauseous,
hold up,
I”ll be here forever
you know, i’m on my four sh-t,
and I ain’t wit foreclosure, I will never forfeit,
less than four bars,
Guru bring the chorus in,
did you get the picture yet,
I’m painting you a portrait of young…

[Chorus]
[End]

There you go. The full forever young lyrics. I missed one or two words so feel free to send in your corrections and I will update asap.

Read the complete Jay-Z Blueprint 3 Lyrics NOW!

I understand the message Jay is trying to get across with this track but is he really going to be a legend that will live forever.

Mr Hudson works perfectly on the chorus and is always easy to listen to. Of course Kanye done a track with Mr Hudson and it was a great collabo so Big Brother had to jump in as well (hopefully Kanye won’t moan about it this time). The more I listen to this song the more it grows on me.

It’s a nice album track that fits in well with “So Ambitious”.

What do you think of this track compared to the other Blueprint 3 tracks?

Fresh. Grab a good strong drink, lay back and just think about life while playin this track… nice. Mr Hudson was built for this song.

One of my favourites from BP3… I don’t think his BP3 tracks are what people would be expecting, he’s tryin something new.. of course he he has hits and misses, but may the best of this album be the worst of his next, lol.

This song is probably one of the best from the album.

I don’t think Kanye will go moan about it again because after all, Kanye has a track on BP3 aswell!

    Great job on the lyrics.

i thought i was gonna hate bp3 based on what i heardplus the fact that he had mad features….but listenin to the cd from cover to cover, shit is too tight……why is jay so good…”you wanna hear old jay..buy his old albums”…he definilty doin somethin new and i am absoloutly feelin it….plus most of the features (which i thought would be the worst part of the cd) are only on hooks….jay strikes again!!!

    Your version:

    young slum, hung here,
show that the n-gga from here
with a little ambition just what we can become here,

What i believe the lyrics to be:

    young slung, hung here,
    shorty, that nigga from here
with a little ambition just what we can become here

    [Reply]

    admin Reply:

I can here the “slung” part now so have revised the lyrics accordingly. Not sure about the rest. The original version makes more sense as it is.

Appreciate your feedback though :) .

    Shook Reply:

@admin, well actually shorty makes more sense imo, its like young kids in marcy growin up, callin em shorty

    [Reply]

    admin Reply:

I hear you! I added “shorty” for now unless anyone else objects.

I still can’t make it out but I’ll take your word for it. :)

    Thanks for your feedback.

    Shook Reply:

@Shook, ;) just a couple more, i think you should add in Jay-z sayin ‘May the best of your todays, be the worst of your tomorrows, but we aint even thinking that far, you naw mean?’

And, your version sayin ‘aint waiting for for closure’ i dont believe that’s right, i think it’s ‘i aint with foreclosure’ but not sure, listen for yourself

    Shook Reply:

@admin, actually meant to make it @admin :P

If feel ya but tha truth is “young forever” is the best rap song ever made. It sums up every ambition, expectation, or thought of any rapper who ever lived. Can’t nobody fuck with Jay. And just for the record I’m from Memphis and I wasn’t brought up on JaY But that just goes to show how big A impact young got on the rap game.3 years ago, I aint gonna lie,NEver thought I’d say this but Jay,If you do your research and listen to the albums,is the best that EVER did it.

There are good songs, and then there are ‘GREAT’ messages; having not being a Jay z fan in the past, this is his best effort to date. ‘YOUNG FOREVER’
is a statement of being and dreams of today’s and yesterdays; yes the dreams of all youth; staying young in mind is the way to stay there FOREVER!
This is a LAVA TRACK THAT’S CLICKIN!
