I thought this album was going to be epic, but…meh. it sounds like it’ll be “so,so”.
Kanye is never lyrical anymore, so I didn’t expect much from this song from him, but DAMN! His verse is TERRIBLE! Jay went about 75-80% on this, though.
I hope the rest of Watch the Throne is better than this…Best Album of 2011, my arse!

Best album of the year will go to J. Cole hands down. An we still have Take Care-Drake, Carter IV and Lupe’s album to look forward too. With that being said Im not too much a fan of the is song (I think it’s the beat) but Jay went in as usual, think one of his best verses in awhile. Anywho either way I most definitely will be “Watching the Throne” when it drops, just hope it isn’t a rushed project cause Jay an Kanye always do great things.

Shoot me for saying this, if you like…
This isn’t my kind of music(raps about how pimp you are), but I actually liked this song, though I much prefer the Vayden remix. (though note I am generally bias towards this band) It is just much more edgier, which the song needs. It matches the lyrics much more beautifully. The slow beat just kills it, though it’s hard to understand at first when listening to Vayden’s version. If those two could male it more edgy then I’d be estatic. Otherwise it lacks. Still, quality song
