Damn this song really explains how i feel. Everyone who’s been in relationships can relate to this song so much. I just burned a CD with this song today and as soon as i put this song in my car, ALL my friends stood quiet and it was just crazy how the vibe was so different than usual. Like if everyone was just thinking about their own personal things. After the song they were just blown away and the rest of the drive we just talked about how the song meant alot to everyone and how it relates to them so much. Personally me, This is what im going through right now and its exactly what im going through, the funny thing is that the girl sounds just like the girl in my life and we had the same conversation about being drunk. Thank Me Later was an incredible album, Idk why people are always trying to hate on it. “Fancy” and “Show Me a Good Time” were easily two of the weakest tracks on the album… Those two and Find Your Love where on it just for the pop aspect of his album sales…Unforgettable, Light up, Shut it down, over, and fireworks were all amazing tracks for alotta people to relate to. Unforgettable could easily be one of his best verses to date.
People immediately jumped down his throat when Thank Me Later came out, but if you really sat down and took the time to listen to the full album, you’d realize its full potential.

Listening to TML a year later, I appreciate it much more as a whole than I did when it first came out and it was so hyped and so criticized. It is put together extremely well, and “the 1st 3 songs made you feel so depressed before picking up” is completely wrong; that was setting up where his mind was at before he blew up on “Over”. It was a chronological account of his life between So Far Gone and his album and the first three songs were the transition.

Fancy was the weakest track yet the lyrics are still off the hook on that, Show Me A Good Time was like a punchline song. Drake is makin history here, if u can make a track with Jay and Jeezy that just means your good, they don’t get on a track for anyone. His solo songs were just as good the resistance was incredible.
