Dr. Dre Tops Forbes’ “Highest-Paid Musicians” List
Despite not releasing an album in over a decade, Dr. Dre takes the #1 spot in Forbes‘ Highest-Paid Musicians 2012 List. The super-producer surpasses rock star legends, pop artists and fellow rappers.
The 47-year-old hip-hop mogul earned $110 million based largely on his highly popular Beats by Dr. Dre headphones line. He took in a reported $100 million pretax when handset maker HTC paid $300 million for a 51 percent stake in the company last year – big bucks!!! He and his partners later bought back half of what they sold.
Also on the list are Rihanna at#12 making $53 million, Diddy tied with Katy Perry at #15 making $45 million and Beyonce and Jay-Z shortly after. Check out the complete list below.
Anyone you’re surprised who didn’t make the list?

So since he’s not on the list that means he can’t rap!?! A lot of great rappers that’s not on the list like Elzhi, Kendrick, Cole, Eminem. Andre 3k Are you gonna tell me Diddy is a better rapper than them because he made more money than them!?!? If you think lil wayne is overrated cool thats your opinion no one can change it but don’t use dumbass logic to make your opinion valid because he has one of the most highest grossing rap tour of all time accumulating $42 million dollars in the I am music tour

1st Taylor Swift sold over 1 mill albums so it’ll be a shame if she didn’t have that much money. She knocked 2 of the most anticipated rap albums from being number 1 on the charts. 2nd you completely missed the point I was making which is the dude tried to validate his opinion with something that had nothing to do with how good a rapper is. If you don’t like Wayne cool thats your opinion no prob its not gonna change my opinion of him. The fact is he took an off year and still banked double digit million dollars with no tour or album and most of the people on here are pop or r&b except 4 rappers because pop music appeals to the majority of america

@Mr. Tv Reference, well I was going off of your comment not his. His comment is stupid though. All I said is how funny that the people that brag the most are the ones with least money. Thats all. Everything else you said about wayne and tour money bro no one cares lol
