Eminem is celebrating 15 years of Shady Records by releasing a compilation album called “SHADYXV” on November 24th. The 2 CD collection will feature his greatest hits plus all new material. New songs will come from the Shady records roster including Eminem, Slaughterhouse, Bad Meets Evil, D-12 and Yelawolf as well as special guest-artist collaborations. The first new song we got to hear was Guts Over Fear featuring Sia.
On the last day of his Monster Tour with Rihanna in Detroit, Eminem completed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge after being nominated by Dr Dre. Eminem then nominated Rick Rubin, Rihanna and Mr Porter for the challenge. You can donate to the ALS here which helps people with Motor Neurone Disease.

NBC has reported that Meek Mill has been sentenced to jail for parole violation which included posting derogatory tweets about the probation department and his DA. The MMG rapper is set to serve 3-6 months in jail however it could be as little as 3/4 weeks according to Karen Civil. Watch the full NBC report below.

After the news leaked a few weeks ago Apple have finally confirmed the news that they will purchase Beats Electonics for the round figure of $3 billion. The purchase includes the popular headphone range Beats By Dre and their new music streaming service Beats Music. Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre, the company’s co-founders, will join Apple as part of the deal.
