Dr. Dre has officially announced his new album, Compton: The Soundtrack inspired by his NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton. He called it his “Grand Finale” so that means Detox is no more.
Dre revealed that the project will be released on August 7th and feature Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, The Game and more. Check out the full tracklist below.
Kanye West was performing “Black Skinheads” during his headlining set at Glastonbury when a stage invader interrupted his performance. The invader was UK comedian Lee Nelson who is known for pulling off these stunts. It’s safe to assume Kanye wasn’t impressed and restarted the song.
Lil Wayne performed at the KMEL Summer Jam in the Bay area last night and made an announcement that he signed a deal with Jay-Z.
There is no confirmation on whether it’s a record deal with Roc Nation or a deal with Tidal. As he recently released his new single “Glory” through Tidal this may be what he is referring to.

Eminem’s new song ‘Phenomenal’ will appear on the soundtrack to Jake Gyllenhaal’s new movie Southpaw. We previosuly heard a snippet in the trailer, however now we get to hear a slightly longer version in the new Beats By Dre commercial. Check it out above.
The song will be the first single off the soundtrack with the movie due out on July 24th.
